QUILTING FRAME

General information

Our quilting frames are made to order, and variations to the standard design can normally be included

A Quilting frame is used to align and stretch the three layers of a quilt as they are stitched together.

DIMENSIONS

The standard quilting frame is supplied with 1200mm rollers allowing 35mm for the cogs, this gives a clear working width of 1165mm. Extension sets are available in 600mm and 900mm. One or two extension sets can be added.

Some adjustment in height and angle of working surface can be made by rotating the legs.

To special order rollers in a single piece can be provided. From past experience, this can create delivery difficulties, and personal pickup is preferred.

Our design has the following approximate dimensions

Overall height = 800mm

Overall depth = 700mm

Working dimension front to back = 300mm

Clearance under working area = 50mm minimum

Our design has hardwood cogs to tension each layer (quilt face, padding, backing) separately and take-up on the front roller.

This item will normally be made in pine and can be stain finished as required, but individual requirements can normally be catered for
